Welcome!
Welcome to the website of the Yale University Guild of Carillonneurs. We are the student organization responsible for ringing the 54-bell Yale Memorial Carillon in Harkness Tower.
We are now on our summer schedule. The bells ring 12:30-1:00 p.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m. every day. We also have a Summer Concert Series. Visit our Summer Series webpage for details!

When do the bells ring?
Throughout the academic year, the Guild rings the bells of Harkness Tower at 12:30-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-6:00 p.m. We offer tours of the tower on Sundays, so we sometimes play the bells 2:15-2:30 p.m. on Sundays during the year. We do not play during the Yale College final exam periods, and we do not always play during breaks.
Over the summer, the bells ring 7:00-8:00 p.m. every day. In addition, every summer the Guild organizes a Summer Concert Series, for which we invite carillonneurs from around the world and the United States to come to Yale to perform. The concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. on eight consecutive Fridays from mid-June to mid-August. More information will be posted about our 2012 summer series in the spring.
The Guild performs a special ring schedule for Commencement in May and for alumni reunions in June every year. The Guild also receives special requests that may result in changes in our schedule. Exceptions to our usual schedule are posted below.
Exceptions
There are no exceptions to the regular ring schedule at this time.
